We are looking for full-time content editors.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Proofread and copyedit content to ensure it adheres to the desired Educational standards as per the education regulatory bodies
    • Follow up with content creators and give constructive feedback
  • Strategize on how to maintain the quality of content
  • Allocate content creation assignments to content designers
  • Create content of highest quality for students preparing for assessments both at school and national level
  • Create and update Content Masters according to the approved syllabus for content creation
  • Assist in planning for and conduct teacher training workshops on content creation, editing, ask-a-teacher and feedback giving
  • Give feedback to other team members on creation, ask-a-teacher and editing to enhance efficiency
  • Work closely with the Content Team to brainstorm and appropriately adjust content for the online, android and SMS platforms
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the Content Manager and other team members

 

Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor of Education (B.ed Arts), preferably English/Lit
  • At least 3 years of experience as a teacher in the Kenyan Curriculum
  • Have exceptional content knowledge and a deep understanding of students’ learning needs
  • Must be fluent in English. Precise grammar and spelling is expected
  • Computer proficient; must be able to use Google Docs and Spreadsheets
  • Clear communication often is absolutely necessary
  • Must be a glutton for feedback and have extreme attention to detail
  • Must be passionate about working in education sector
