Eneza Ghana Volunteers’ Month
Two months ago, Eneza Education Ghana, a social enterprise providing access to quality and affordable education to low income earners in Ghana through ubiquitous mobile technology, launched an engaging program dubbed Eneza Ghana Volunteers Program (EGVP). The program provides volunteering opportunities for individuals who are passionate about education and technology an opportunity to learn, engage and impact lives through mobile technology.
Volunteers recruited under the program are under three categories:
- ASK-A-Teacher Respondents:they respond to numerous questions from our student, teacher and adult users on the dashboard.
- Content Creators: they create quality and engaging lessons and PASCO contents.
- Content Editors: they review and conduct quality assurance on all created contents before they are published.
The first cohort of volunteers under the program are students from the University of Ghana, Legon. After two months of volunteerism, Eneza Education Ghana has felt and still feeling the impact of their work.
There is an Akan adage which goes like, “Onipa yɛ adeɛ a, ɔsɛ ayeyi”. This translates to a job well done deserves recognition. In addition to the numerous benefits and learning platforms given to these volunteers; Eneza Education Ghana has dedicated the entire month of April to celebrate these amazing individuals across all our social media platforms as a way of appreciating their works.
Each week day of the month has been allocated to celebrating these exceptional personas in a grande style. Eneza Education Ghana therefore invites all and sundry to help appreciate our energetic volunteers by sharing, liking and commenting on these personalities during the entire month of April.
